I bet my life, it’s not worth much, against the knife you tightly clutch. Though in my heart I fear we’ll part, all in to win

Good poem, but that’s a mighty steep bet.

Thank you! It could be a steep bet unless the knife is metaphorical. 🙂

Even metaphorically, if you are betting your life against it, it’s a steep risk.

Excellent. I read your tags, just out of curiosity 🙂

Thank you! I really don’t know how to use tags, so I just put things on the poems. 🙂

Well, I’ll tell ya what–I’ll be using less tags in future, even though the idea behind them (according to WP) is to drive more traffic to a blog when people type in a word of interest and it leads them to all manner of blogs writing about the topic. Apparently many of the tags I use routinely are magnets for Spammers–it makes me crazy and led to me deleting the last blog I had. I notice they’re not interested in tags like “Christian”, “faith”, “God” and “Jesus”–but mention food, houseplants, money, health…and you get spammers wanting to help you make more money, sell you vitamins/health products (including sexual ones), tell you gardening and travel tips, as well as advice on making your blog “better”…it’s relentless. So my tags are going be pretty generic from now on 🙂
