Working For It

Death follows me
ever closer
quickly, slowly
stopping no sir
So nor will I
I will defy
not wait for fate

      1. Oh wow, aren’t you the organized one!! I will be scarce during November, as I’m doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)–editing and hopefully completing my novel in progress 🙂 Take good care of you and your nearest and dearest 🙂 ❤

      2. I wish I was organized! 🙂 It was just that I had already written enough for a halloween themed October that I scheduled them so I wouldn’t forget. It worked out so I could focus elsewhere for a while.

I hope you were pleased with how your novel came out.

      3. Hello! And, great to see you! My blogging remains hit and miss–hiatus…I set the novel draft aside and now it’s nearly Christmas! Normally I’d be posting tons of Christmas poems…but this year fatigue has set in, as I imagine it has for many. We all long for the return of “normal”. Hopefully after the New Year begins I’ll be more motivated to blog and be a poet again 🙂 🙂 I pray that you and your family are well and safe, and happy–and that you can enjoy the holidays in meaningful ways, despite Covid. ❤

      4. Thank you! I was feeling a bit poetically fatigued as well, this my break. Not reading poetry and not writing much. I’m trying to get back into it now. Otherwise I’ve been well, thanks. 🙂 I hope your motivation kicks in again. In the mean-time take it easy and set your focus on something else you enjoy. And take care of yourself!
