Futility

Belief, ha'sonnet, Poetry, Prompt, Scary or Suspenseful, short form, Thoughts 
I must say this
being human
is an abyss
where acumen
helps just so much
Even with such
we all will fall

Inspired by the 16 March 2021 prompt “This being human is” on the “dVerse – Poets Pub” site, though not following the direction to start the poem with the prompt. (Well, it doesn’t fit within the construct of my syllable count. 🙂)
