Thank you, Mousey! 🙂 It can be annoying, though. I sometimes hear or think of a good line and automatically start trying to fit it into four beat lines.

Have you considered writing sonnets as well? Just on the odd occasion of course. You would have more wiggle room with line length.

I’d written a couple before I focussed so much on ha’sonnets. Now the lines are two beats more than my mind wants to go. 😁
