If Looks Could Kill

The future flames
in front of me
fomenting shames
of what I’ll be
if I don’t change
So I exchange
the tie I’ll buy

Changes in Life

It was our song
When it came on
we sang along
in days bygone
Hearing it now
I don't think Wow!
I’m sad it’s bad

Stylistically

The weather’s change
to Winter clothes
means fashions range
from loves through loathes
as layered looks
are on the books
until Spring’s frill
