Celebrating

The colors changed
across the wood
with hues that ranged
from great to good
for what would be
their last party
until Spring’s trill

Minty’s Coming

There’s pumpkin spice
in this chai tea
Which could be nice
but none for me
I’ve had enough
of pumpkin stuff
this year my dear

Farmer’s Straw Man

He stands up tall
watching his field
ready to brawl
never to yield
That the crows eat
right at his feet
sticks straw in craw
