St. Paddy’s Day

The fiddles sing
and whistles slide
as the pubs ring
with Irish pride
and the day’s view
is filtered through
a sheen of green

When Irish Eyes

The Irish eyes
are smiling bright
as music flies
into the night
from songs that flow
from fiddle bow
employed with joy
