Ha’sonnet title inspired by the 31 August daily prompt at the Brave & Reckless blog and based on the title of a seminal feminist book ‘she must be mad’ by Charly Cox.
Added title to a ha’sonnet I had written last year because the prompt immediately jumped out as a better fit than the title options I’d come up with.
The beauty myth
says there’s a norm
encumbered with
a defined form
And yet for me
it’s what I see
with my heart’s eye
