The satellites
filling up space
make the starlights
harder to trace
by adding glow
to a night show
now wreaked with streaks

I was taking the trash out the other night and saw a weird string of lights moving across the sky. It turned out to be a cluster of recently launched SpaceX Starlink satellites that were moving from the ship towards their orbit, and I just happened to be in the right place to see them. (Do an internet search for “spacex satellites in the sky”to see what I saw.)

No One’s Watching

I could have danced
all night! Maybe.
Until I chanced
upon the key
where I could sway
while you sashay
around my ground.
