Rude weather last weekend with a 40 degree (fahrenheit) drop in one day, and then six inches of snow and ice. Going from short sleeves to shoveling snow. Ah, March. One of my cats wanted to go out on the deck, so we let him. He enjoyed it too fast for pictures. 😸

Breaking the Ice

In midwinter
the snowdrops bloom
helping deter
the winter gloom
The strength I see
through their beauty
restores my core
