Changes in Taste

I used to be,
how would you say…
a maple tree!
On a spring day!
Sweet syrup sap
dripped from the tap…
Now, I’m a lime.

Spring Springing Forth

The snowdrops wave
their small white heads
starting the rave
from Winter’s beds
To add some mirth
up from the earth
a crocus pokes

Celebrating

The colors changed
across the wood
with hues that ranged
from great to good
for what would be
their last party
until Spring’s trill
